THE DELHI Daredevils (DD) defeated Rajasthan Royals (RR) by 14 runs in the Indian Premier League (IPL) at the OUTsurance Oval on Sunday (May 17).

AB de Villiers (DD) became the highest scorer of the match. He scored 79 runs in 55 balls, which included eight boundaries and one over boundary. He also remained not out. Dilshan, another DD batsman scored 33 runs.

While DD made 150 runs for three wickets, RR managed to score only 136 runs for nine wickets in 20 overs.

After 13 matches, RR ranks fifth, while Botha, one of the dependable batting lines of RR scored 37 runs, Munaf (RR) remained not out with 23 runs.

Sehwag (DD) scored only two runs and Munaf bagged his wicket. Munaf bowled four overs and gave 39 runs. He also bagged the wicket of Gambhir. Dilshan’s wicket was taken by Botha.

Mishra (DD) bowled four overs and gave 33 runs only. He also bagged the wickets of A Raut, Shane Warne and Amit Singh. Salvi (DD) took the wickets of R Jadeja and N Ojha.
Maharoof (DD) also grabbed two wickets – Botha and Y Pathan in four overs. Nehra bowled three overs, gave eight runs and got one wicket also.
