Delhi Daredevils (DD) vs Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB): IPL 7's second match can be lopsided
Will the last season's last ranker Delhi Daredevils be able to turn around when they meet Royal Challengers Bangalore in the second match of IPL 7? With star player Kevin Pietersen ruled out from DD in their opening match of the season and with Virag Kohli and Gayle in RCB raring to go blazing with their bat, it’s a tough climb for Delhi in Sharjah Cricket Stadium.

Delhi Daredevils vs Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) – Team

Delhi Daredevils have a totally new face this season. With a complete overhaul of the original team, Delhi has picked up players who have proved themselves at various points of their career. But the overall star quotient of the team depended a lot on Kevin Pietersen who has the ability to take a match away anytime from the grip of the opponents.

But with Pietersen ruled out due to injury, Delhi has suffered a body blow before their opening match of IPL 7. The team will now look towards Dinesh Karthik, Ross Taylor, JP Duminy, Murali Vijay, Manoj Tiwary and Saurabh Tiwary to deliver a decent performance with the bat.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on the other hand are full of star players - Virat Kohli (captain), AB de Villiers, Chris Gayle and Yuvraj Singh. In addition Varun Aaron, Ashok Dinda, Parthiv Patel and Muttiah Muralitharan to add to the strength of the team.

Delhi Daredevils vs Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) – Weakness

Delhi's bowling squad lacks the bite required to restrict Bangalore's big guns. And RCB despite their star players have choked down many a times in the past.

DD vs RCB – What to watch out for?

IPL has always been about the birth of a star from the bunch of lesser known players. Will this season see a new star emerge from Delhi's team?

Yuvraj Singh has a point to prove to the people who have thrown stones to his house after the southpaw’s dismal performance in the final match of T20 World Cup. The star who has blasted with his bat in several other occasions will like to prove to his critics that there is still a lot of firepower left in him.
