Delhi Daredevils has the best squad in Champions League
With players such as Pietersen, Sehwag, Jayawardene and Taylor, etc. representing them, Delhi Daredevils have a squad strong enough to claim the 2012 Champions League T20.

DELHI DAREDEVILS have one of the strongest squads in the ongoing Champions league T20, being played in South Africa. If they play to their potential, it would be very difficult for any of the teams to register a win against them. This team led by Mahela Jayawardene are the favourites for the championship.

They have all the departments of the game covered – namely batting, bowling and fielding. They have such good batsmen in their line up that a player of David Warner's caliber finds it difficult to make it to the playing 11. They have proved T20 players - Virender Sehwag and Jayawardene as openers, who can make use of the first 6 overs and score runs at rapid pace. Even if their openers fail, they have a strong middle order in the form of Ross Taylor, Kevin Pietersen and Unmukt Chand. All these players are capable of changing gears as and when they want. The best part about this batting line up is that they excel when the ball comes onto the bat at good pace and the South African pitches which have good bounce just makes things better for them.

In the bowling department as well, they have one of the most reliable T20 bowlers, Morne Morkel, who makes use of his height and gets the batsmen to dance around with his chin music bowling as well. Being a South African player, his presence helps the team even better, as he has been playing in such conditions ever since he picked up the red cherry from an early age. Other Indian bowlers are also good with the ball, such as Irfan Pathan and Umesh Yadav. They are good new ball bowlers, especially Pathan who moves the ball in and out initially.

In Naman Ojha, they have a good keeper who is an aggressive batsmen as well. The player can be used as a floater as he can play the anchor game as well as a pinch hitter. He excels in the latter. Andre Russell, a quality all rounder may not get a game every outing, but whenever he gets a chance to play, he would bring a fine balance with both his batting and bowling skills.

But, the Daredevils cannot be complacent, as the other teams in the championship are also equally good. Teams such as Perth Scorchers, Auckland Aces, Titans are strong contenders for the championship along with Daredevils.
