The inaugural function was marked by the release of three publications of The National Trust by Gehlot on the occasion in the presence of Ministers of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Krishan Pal Gurjar and S Ramdas Athawale, who also addressed the participants.

Also, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was exchanged between The National Trust and Rotary Club in the field of autism during the first day of the conference. Further, talented and creative children living with autism were honoured with awards.
