Derek Anderson apologizes to Browns fans, latest news
Derek Anderson, the former Cleveland Browns pro bowl quarterback apologized for his remark on blasting his Browns fans following his release from the team on Tuesday.

FORMER BROWNS quarterback Derek Anderson, who was with the Cleveland Browns during the 2007 pro bowl, has apologized for his remarks blasting Browns fans, after his release from the team on Tuesday. Derek Anderson ending an uneven five-year stint with the Browns. The Browns released Anderson, a day after getting backup Seneca Wallace in a trade with the Seahawks.

Cleveland Browns avoid paying Anderson a $2 million roster bonus and a $7.45 million salary in 2010. After his release from Browns, Anderson lashed out at Browns fans and said the fans are ruthless and don't deserve a winner, in the e-mail Tuesday. He also said, I will never forget getting cheered when I was injured. On Wednesday in a statement Derek Anderson said those words came out of frustration.

The 27 years old Derek Anderson made the Pro Bowl for the 2007 season, when he threw 29 touchdown passes and led the Browns to a 10-6 record. But he has regressed since.
