Desh Bhagat Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology organized Placement Drive
Scholarships were handed over to the deserving students as Desh Bhagat Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology organised a placement drive for its final year students.

DESH BHAGAT Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology organized a placement drive for final year students with Sayaji Hotels, Barbeque Nation Hospitality Limited, Indore in which 40 students were shortlisted. The selection of the candidates was based on presentation and growth opportunities, test of domain knowledge and psychometric test.


A package of above Rs 2 Lacs was offered to the management trainees. Manish Kumar Pandey, city manager Barbeque Nation Hospitality Limited showed satisfaction about the infrastructure/ facilities provided by the Desh Bhagat Institute. It is worth mentioning that the Institute has been awarded ‘Top Hotel management Institute Award’ of India’ by competition success review. The institute has the best facilities & infrastructure and a team of highly qualified faculty members with vast industry experience. According to a press release, the students of institute have already been placed in various prestigious hotels of India.


On this occasion, Dr. Zora Singh, Chairman, Tejinder Kaur, Vice Chairperson, Dr. Shalini Gupta, Director General, DBGOI, Amit Sachdeva, Principal, DBIHMCT handed over the Scholarship worth Rs. 25000 each to the students. These scholarships were granted by Government of Jammu & Kashmir, Directorate of Social Welfare, Kashmir, on the basis of “Merit Cum Means” (Professional & Technical). Sincere efforts are being made to get more scholarships for students of the Institute.
