Despite serial bomb blasts at Patna, Modi's 'Hunkar Rally' proved to be a big success
'Long live Narendra Modi, Long live' - This slogan was echoing in the environment of Hunkar Rally at Patna yesterday during BJP election rally. Despite bomb blasts, Narendra Modi's fans enthusiastically chanted 'Hunkar Bharo, Hunkar Bharo' in 'Hunkar Rally' at Patna's Gandhi Maidan.

About six serial bomb blasts happened in Bihar's capital city yesterday. Out of six, one bomb blasted at Patna Junction's public toilet (near Karbighaiya )and five in and around Gandhi Maidan, where Modi was addressing the rally.

This serial bomb blasts changed the mood at the Gandhi Maidan from enthusiasm and happiness to terror and sorrow. But it did not affected the fervor of the NaMo and his fans.

At the start of the rally BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, national president Rajnath Singh, leader  of opposition in Rajya Sabha, Arun Jaitley, Ex Deputy CM of Bihar Sushil Kumar Modi, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Dr C.P. Thakur, Cine Star Shatrughan Sinha and other senior leaders were welcomed with garlands, angvastram (shawl) and rose bouquets.

NaMo was greeted on the stage by the sounds of conch shells (shankh) before his speech.

"Development of India is possible only with the development of villages. The living standard of the Indian farmers should be also improved. Farmer?s economic empowerment will increase prosperity in the country. Congress Party has ruined the economic system of our country by creating a series of scams," said Rajnath Singh while addressing the rally.

Arun Jaitley, Dr C.P.Thakur, Sushil Kumar Modi, Mangal Pandey, Hukum Dev Narain Singh, Dr Prem Kumar and other leaders also spoke on this occasion regarding the contribution of BJP in the development of Bihar. Narendra Modi spoke in Hindi, Bhojpuri, Maithili and Magahi during his speech.

A beautiful 30 kg mural of Statue of Unity (Sardar Vallbh Bhai Patel) was presented to NaMo in the programme.

"BJP's politics is based on justice and humanity. My mantra is development. Every problem?s solution is development. We have to make India  a country of super power. Patna is the land of King Ashoka, Chankya, Chandragupta Maurya and Mother Sita. We should win 4o lok sabha seats in the next election of 2014."

He added, "I belong to a poor family and I know the poverty better. In childhood I was a tea seller in trains. My friend's (CM Nitish Kumar) betrayal with BJP is betrayal with the citizens of Bihar. Congress has not fulfilled the promises it made before Lok Sabha polls."

Commenting on the Congress' objection on using the name Shehzada for it vice-preisdent Rahul Gandhi, Modi said, "If Congress promises to abandon dynastic politics, I'll stop  calling him  Shehzada".

Modi said that the love and affection he got in Bihar would be returned by him with interest. In the wake of the blasts he also appealed to crowd to maintain peace and harmony.

Unfortunately, six people got killed in the serial bomb blasts and around hundred people got injured, who were later admitted in the Patna Medical College Hospital for treatment. Bihar's CM Nitish Kumar has announced compensation of Rs Five Lakh to the kins of killed and proper treatment to the injured victims.
