Delta Air Lines said that as the aircraft approached Detroit a passenger caused some disturbance on the Flight 253. The passenger was subdued immediately and the crew requested the law enforcement authorities to take control of the situation.
DELTA AIR LINES on Friday issued a statement regarding the terrorists attack that took place on a Detroit bound Northwest Flight 253. The aircraft was bound for Detroit Metropolitan Wayne Country airport from Amsterdam.
Delta Air Lines said that as the aircraft approached Detroit a passenger caused some disturbance on the Flight 253. The passenger was subdued immediately and the crew requested the law enforcement authorities to take control of the situation on landing.
The flight operated by Northwest had 278 passengers onboard and it landed safely. The company said “The passenger was taken into custody and questioned by law enforcement authorities. Delta is cooperating fully with authorities and additional questions should be directed to law enforcement officials who are leading the investigation.”
