Did Ajmal Kasab die of dengue? tweeple ask
Ajmal Kasab has finally been executed, as per the Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde, but some people have raised doubts while claiming that the terrorist might have died of dengue. Micro-blogging site Twitter with abuzz with sarcasm, excitement and relief, let us take a look.

IT WAS a pleasant morning shock to many Indians when they heard Ajmal Kasab – the lone terrorist captured during the 2008 Mumbai attacks has been executed in Pune's Yerawada jail. But the secrecy maintained by the government regarding the whole opeartion has given birth to conspiracy theories that Kasab died of dengue and to claim credit, government played the 'hanging drama'.

Arming conspiracy theorists with more reasons, it is being reported that president had rejected Kasab's mercy petition on November 5 and home ministry had given the final nod for execution on November 7. People are asking as to why government didn't make this information public and rightly so, when we know that even top secrets of the country are leaked to media.

It has been widely reported in media that Kasab suffered from high fever and doctors hadn't ruled out dengue. And tweeple have taken to their favourite platform, Twitter to vent out their thoughts and reactions.

Ashwinravindran, using the Twitter handle @ashsensitak tweeted, “Government claiming #kasab hanged till death but some sources saying he is (sic) died by (sic) fever.”

There were some tweets that even compared Kasab's hanging to the death of Osama Bin Laden. A user with handle @NigelBritto tweeted, “Has anyone actually seen #Kasab's body, or is this hanging like Obama throwing Osama bin Laden's ashes into the ocean?”

In the backdrop of recent arrest of two women for questioning Mumbai shutdown on Facebook, many Twitter users were seen posting sarcastic messages on the arrest of women and Kasab's hanging. A user tweeted: “I wonder if #Kasab died by Hanging or He died of food poisoning after having Kavva Biryani for free.. #JUST SAYIN, DONT ARREST ME!!”

Another user with handle @chyprashant tweeted, “Rumors are that #Kasab was about (to) die because of DENGUE. Government of India hanged him to take credit away from mosquitoes.”

Indian Deplomacy is disguessed. if Kasab is died in dangue then why the Indian govt decclares that he is hang. In indian history, there was no such like punishment like hang secret. every time it was open. why the govt diclared not declared open. its very big question. it is only political & election issue by the govt.but we hope there may be coming a big problem by the terorist which will be faced by the innocent public in future. please dont play the country to pursue towards the big problem.

The controversy about the cause or nature of the death of Ajmal Kasab somehow reminds me of the mystery of the Aarushi- Hemraj murder case. In that case, there is a debate about whether the double murder was committed by insider/s i,e. Aarushi's father Rajesh Talwar or both parents,Or by outsiders, meaning the servants of the Talwars and their business partners, and neighbours. In Kasab's case, the Question is- who finally performed the feat of putting the dreaded terrorist to death- Government of India , or the Mosquito of India ?

I feels that Kasab already died due to Dengue in Arthor road jail, so for d show and public sympothy Govt showing these as a secrete operation (Hang and buried in Yerawada without any footage)

Kasab's hanging is justified as he was part of the gang which killed 166 people. However, there are many more kasabs in India itself in the form of dirty politicians, builders, corrupt bureaucrats and they also should be given proper punishment for their deeds. In kasab's case i conclude "better late than never" Jai hind.

Is it dengue that make the govt took quick steps? Imagine if he would have died by dengue, govt would have got huge set back and criticism for failure to hang him. Never know the secret behind the scene.

Of course Kasab died of Dengue. Just wait and watch what they do with Afzal Guru and you will know if the Govt actually have guts to hang a political prisoner.

Aha! a new angle actually. Indian govt surely got brownie points and established themselves as a strong administrator with the headlines of 'Kasab hanged'. But it surely was in news that Kasab was suffering from Dengue and thereby could have very well died from the disease. Had the headline said - "Kasab died of Dengue" ... the govt on the other hand wud hav received blows from all human rights organization claiming the govt had not given him medical treatment. So very well can be a case of headline fabrication.
