Differences visible among BJP leaders in Punjab post Jaitley's lose
While BJP is celebrating its landmark victory with majority seats in Lok Sabha elections throughout the nation but there is a gloomy picture in the Punjab with the loss of Amritsar seat despite best efforts by Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Arun Jaitley - leader of the opposition in the Rajya Sabha.

He was specially brought to Amritsar by the state unit to contest polls with the assurance it would be a cakewalk for him - from his nearest rival Congress candidate, Capt Amrinder Singh, during the recently conducted Lok Sabha general elections 2014. Now the BJP leaders are blaming each other for polling of fewer votes in favour of BJP.

In this context, differences between Sukhpal Singh Nannu, former Chief Parliamentary Secretary who is leveling serious charges against Kamal Sharma, Punjab BJP President, have openly come up. It is evident from the hosting of a party at his Mamdot House on Monday late evening, inviting his supporters and media persons.

Well before the hosting of the party, Sukhpal Singh Nannu expressed his sentiments from the core of his heart, while addressing his BJP workers and supporters, levelled charges over the shameful defeat on Amritsar seat and demanded a change in the state leadership.

Accusing Jugraj Singh Katora, BJP District President said that less votes had been polled from his own village.

On Tuesday, D P Chandan, former Vice Chairman, Punjab Small Industries Board supported to continue the war further with his commentary with befitting replies. He said, the analysis of defeat in elections is the job of senior party leaders instead of a particular person. He said that Nannu had no right to make a mockery of the party by calling such meeting over hosting of a party, rather he should bring improving in his working style.

Because of this, the people of Ferozepur have ignored him during the last Assembly elections but he is still continuing his movement against the party. He said, he was deputed for election duty in Amritsar by the High Command during Lok Sabha and Assembly elections.

Kamal Sharma, Punjab BJP President has denied all the charges levelled by Sukhpal Singh Nannu but has refused to speak any word on this issue. He doesn't want to put any charge against anyone.

It is pertinent to mention here that Kamal Sharma has already admitted the fault on behalf of the party over the loss of Amritsar seat but he is likely to be in line of fire after Jaitley's defeat.
