Obama has always stressed the point of having a broader relationship between the US and China. With Obama re-elected, he has a greater chance of taking the relations between the two countries to another level. Hong Lei, Chinese Foreign ministry spokesman was delighted with Obama's victory, as he also said, “Over the past four years, through the effort by two sides, the China and the US have made positive progress.”

Though, most of the countries were happy with Obama's win, but some did look at it with a different telescope, like Sergey Rogov from Russian Academy of science, as he said, “Obama has won, that means reviving American and Russian politics will continue, even so in coming weeks, we can expect new wave of anti-Russia propaganda.” But, for Russia, it was better to see Obama getting re-elected rather than Romney, as the latter had stated that Russia was Washington's main foe.

Apart from dignitaries, there were some close friends and family members who sent congratulatory messages. One such person was his step grandmother, Mama Sarah Obama in Western Kenya, who said, “This is more important than the first one, because, he has gone back for the second time and won again.”

The residents of the US have shown faith in Obama to improve upon the future of the country, as they have been suffering because of slow economy and the growing unemployment, not to forget the debt that the US has been trapped in. So, in the next four years, Obama needs to clear all his problems, if he wants people to consider him as one of the best American president.
