Producer of Hello Memsaheb, Arijit Biswas says Dimpy has a bold and go-getter attitude. “She is quite free in front of the camera. Her camera-friendly attitude will surely take her places.
Another Bengali Film director says, on condition of anonymity, “She did some bold scenes in the Jeet-Priyanka Trivedi-starrer Hello Memsaheb. She has also done an item number somewhat similar to Mallika Sherawat’s Maiyya Maiyya track from Guru.” She acted in Ratri Zee Bangla's mega serial Uthoshober Ratri.
She also anchored Rupasi Bangla's Dashavatar TV programme. She did any role from a cameo to item numbers. All these big stars, who sport bikinis or kiss on screen, are paid in crores. I don’t see any reason to make a hue and cry about Dimpy’s bikini shoots,” says the star of reality show Rahul Dulhania Le Jayega.
