Dinosaurs were a diverse group of animals that disappeared about 65.5 million years ago during the Triassic period, but now they are back at an exhibition in Paris. Visitors to the National History museum can see dinosaur fossils and the whooping size of some dinosaur eggs. Live-sized examples of the dinosaurs in the exhibition hall are a big hit with the kids.

The exhibition is divided into four parts. The first part shows the earth at that time and describes the animals that co-existed with the dinosaurs. The next part shows the cretaceous-tertiary extinction, then the boom of mammals, and finally the Epilogue.

“We are really fascinated about the size, it is amazing to see such big sized dinosaurs. It is really interesting and the egg size is very impressive,” said a kids at the exhibition. Impressive large body parts are also on display. A guided and organized workshop for kids is also seen at the exhibition, where the kids can play with a massive dinosaur heart that pumps 600 liters of blood a minute.

A femur more than 2 meters long, which was discovered in south western France just three years ago, can also seen at the exhibition. Along with dinosaur anatomy, the visitors can also learn more about these ancient creatures' diet and their protective habits.

“This is an animal that is very very big and measured 4 feet to 50 meters. It could weigh 40 to 50 tons, it is very very big and very heavy,” Ronan Allain, Palaeontologist, Natural History Museum in Paris, told the AFP.
