Distributors of 'Tubelight' shed tears after incurring huge losses
Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has established a record of sorts for the past many years of releasing his films on Eid.
His films released on Eid have made bumper records at the box office. Considering past record, Salman considers Eid as his lucky charm. However, things have turned out quite differently for him this time around.

Salman's latest Eid release Tubelight has received mix responses from both the box office as well as the critics. In fact, on day one itself, Tubelight fared below average and is reportedly struggling to reach the Rs 100 crore mark even after more than five days of its release.

According to reports, two cinemas in Ferozabad (UP) that were screening Tubelight have reported losses worth Rs 1 million. The main sufferers have been single screen theatres in small towns.

Many distributors have reportedly reached Mumbai to meet Salman, asking for a refund. It is, however, yet to be seen how Salman addresses to their grievances.

Written and directed by Kabir Khan, Tubelight is based on the 1962 Indo-China war.
