Finding your lost belongings in the Delhi Metro will no longer be a hassle with the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation displaying a list of all lost and found items on its website.

FINDING YOUR lost belongings in the Delhi Metro will no longer be a hassle with the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation displaying a list of all lost and found items on its website. The details of such items would be regularly updated under the ‘Lost & Found’ section on its official website. Details about the date, time and name of the station where the article was found or handed over to DMRC staff by anyone along with its description would also be mentioned on the website.

The claimants of these lost items will be required to approach the respective metro station mentioned in the list within 24 hours of its display on the website. Passengers failing to do so would then have to approach the centralized Lost & Found office at Kashmere Gate Metro station.

The Delhi Metro’s Lost & Found office is located at Kashmere Gate Metro station. Anyone, including a Delhi Metro employee, security staff and passenger, can handover any lost and found article to the concerned Station Manager who registers all details about the received articles.

Presently, the DMRC receives about 7-10 items everyday which mostly includes clothes, water bottles, tiffins, wrist watches and umbrellas. As many as 1000 such items have still not been claimed from the Kashmere Gate Metro station.
