Dog disowned after being fed by a Dalit woman
The Dalit woman was identified as Sunita, who is wife of an agricultural labourer. She was carrying food for her husband working in the fields when she found Sheroo. Sensing he was hungry, Sunita fed him a roti.
SHEROO, the pet dog of Amit Dhakar aka Mitta, a caste conscious landlord of Madhya Pradesh 's Morena district was disowned by his owner just because he was fed roti by a Dalit woman.

Not only that Mitta also charged the woman 15,000 rupees as compensation and the responsibility of taking care of Sheroo.
The Dalit woman was identified as Sunita, who is wife of an agricultural labourer. She was carrying food for her husband working in the fields when she found Sheroo. Sensing he was hungry, Sunita fed him a roti. Mitta appeared from nowhere and charged Sunita of polluting his dog. He also disowned Sheroo from that moment.

On the basis of Mitta's charges, Sunita was summoned to a public hearing by the District Collector M.K. Aggarwal, where she broke down and told her side of the story. The District Collector then asked the police to register a case against Mitta on the ground of atrocities against the Dalits.

Mitta belonging to a so called higher caste performed a shameful act  by discarding his own dog for no crime at all and charging an innocent woman for her kind act.

Sunita ,on the other hand, set an example of human kindness by feeding a hungry dog that did not even belong to her.
