The Congress is still dragging on the Telangana issue. Now, it's fanning the States Reorganization Commission (SRC) aspect. It seems the Telangana issue may continue till the 2014 elections. But this will spoil both the regions of Andhra Pradesh if nothing is done.
THE CONGRESS is unable to forget its earlier idea SRC (States Reorganization Commission) for the Telangana crisis. Mayawati, the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister is provoking the UPA government, and is also playing tricks to elicit the real intention of the Congress party in its mind. The idea of Mayawati is clearly known that it would be better to her to recapture power at least in two of the states, if the state is divided into four regions. If Uttar Pradesh politics remains static it is very difficult to retain power. Hence, she plays this idea. Whatever it may be, Uttar Pradesh needs to be split into smaller parts.

To counter Mayawati, the Congress has disclosed its intention to go for SRC. But whether it is applicable to Telangana or not is not clear. The Andhra Pradesh affairs Congress-in-charge Gulam Nabi Azad is the only authoritative person to clarify. But if SRC is declared definitely it will be applicable to Telangana. To avoid this, the center has first announced Telangana, and later to go for SRC. Already, the leaders of Telangana are up in arms after Congress spoke about its intention of SRC for smaller states.
The TRS and T-Congress leaders say that they don’t agree on anything other than having consensus on Telangana, and their agitation has no alternatives. One thing is clear that the AICC should not drag the issue much and work out an immediate solution - inviting all the leaders of Telangana and Andhra on the table, and hold talks till it gets the solution.
