Don't put pressure on Sachin's son Arjun Tendulkar
Arjun Tendulkar may be following in his father's famous footstep as he put up an impressive all round display scoring 45 runs and taking 4 wickets at Sassanian Cricket Club, while playing for Dhirubhai Ambani International School.

ARJUN TENDULKAR, son of the Master Blaster, Sachin Tendulkar grabbed headlines on many websites and newspapers across the country. The left-handed opener scored an unbeaten 45 runs and took 4 wickets in a T20 match that was played at Sassanian Cricket Club. He was representing Dhirubhai Ambani International School.

Many people would be thinking of the same question at this hour, would he be able to play like his dad? It is questions, such as these, which might put pressure on Arjun, who is still very young and should be kept aloof from the media. But with performances like these it would be very difficult to hide Arjun away from the media.

Sachin, Arjun’s dad is the perfect mentor and an idol, which one could think of when Arjun has just started to grab newspaper headlines. Sachin would be guiding him in the right direction and help him in taking correct decisions until he matures to take decisions himself. We have definitely seen Arjun alongside Mumbai Indian players, which show his passion to learn by watching them closely during practise.

It would definitely be a huge task if we ask him to walk in his father’s shoes, as Sachin’s boots may not be filled by anyone so easily. But, Sachin is sure to be pleased if his son, Arjun, dons the Indian colours in the future with his dad watching from the VIP stands. It would be a proud moment for the player, if it indeed turns out to be true. We should not jump to conclusions so early, because one is not sure as to whether he would be plying his professional trade as a cricketer or not. So let him enjoy his youth, the way he wants it, as it is never going to come back in his life again.
