Doodling enhances visual intelligence and provides relaxation
Doodling can be a great way to pass time during some activity you are not interested. Doodling can be during boring class or lectures to improve your visual intelligence and artistic skills. This can also lead to finding a passion during leisure times.

During the visit of a Canadian relative, Naresh, to Jaipur recently, I had to take him to a hair cutting saloon and wait for some time till the job was over. I borrowed a dot pen and a paper from the barber to do a bit of doodling to sharpen my visual symbol drawing skill and pass my time by producing some art work of sorts.

It has been observed that  doodling not only allows one to relax, but also provides you a journey from unconscious mind to conscious mind and vice versa to become a productive exercise in developing visual skills and  cognition.

For producing the doodle art given here, the following steps were followed: (1) Looking around at the place to find some visual to draw its symbolic implied drawing, as I did of a poster of a girl with flowing hair; (2) Doing doodling around the implied line drawing by creating loops unconsciously; (3) Filling the loops with line patterns; (4) Decorating the left over spaces with spirals, circles, dots and simple other strokes.

After having made your doodle art on an ordinary paper with a pen, pencil or sketch pen, if you get it framed, it would look a great piece of abstract art from a distance. Nonetheless, it would result in improving your visual intelligence.

It has been suggested that one can create a collage of his or her on a flat surface and get it mounted to feel proud of the creation and win appreciation of others.
