Dr. Murli Manohar Joshi re-appointed as PAC Chairman
Dr. Murli Manohar Joshi has been re-appointed as the Public Accounts Committee chairman (PAC). He recently came in the limelight when he submitted the 2G Spectrum report from the PAC panel and Congress party leaders hit back at his report.
DR. MURLI Manohar Joshi was former Union Human Resources Development minister of India in the NDA government. Joshi is a leading member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, and he was the chairman of the PAC Panel committee.

Joshi was re-nominated by the leading opposition party Bharatiya Janta Party for the next term because on 30th of April 2011 his term was over but Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar re–appointed Joshi as the chairman of PAC today. Dr. Murli Manohar Joshi’s term will be for the next one year.

On Thrusday dated April 28 2011 he walked out of a meeting where his report on the 2G scam was defeated by one vote and then a harsh debate and war of comments occurred between BJP and Congress party. Following this, the BJP strongly condemned the calculated, deliberated and sponsored attack on Dr Murli Manohar Joshi by the Congress party.

Now that the Lok Sabha Speaker has re–appointed Dr. Murli Manohar Joshi as the Chairman of Public Accounts Committee for the next term, 2011–2012, now, let’s hope the PAC will deliver a transparent report on the recent scams. Also, the Congress party has to be receptive to him in the future - otherwise it will affect the Congress party itself in the future.
