Addressing media persons in the capital city of Rajasthan on August 15 (Saturday) in Jaipur, former strong lady of Rajasthan politics said that she will not resign from her post of leader of opposition in the Rajasthan Assembly as is being instructed by BJP president Rajnath Singh. Few days back party president has asked Vasundhara Raje to step down from the post of leader of opposition owing to dismal performance in the parliamentary and assembly election. Agonised with the instruction given to her, she said accountability should be there for all not only for small leaders, it should reflect from top.
 
Lobbying has already started on the issue, with former chief minister’s supporter landing in Delhi to convince BJP top brass that in present scenario-she is the best person to represent BJP and handing reign to any other person will only spoil the image of the party which of late has been facing internal turmoil after its poor performance in the recently concluded 5th parliamentary election.
