THE BIGGEST passenger aeroplane of the world, Dreamliner Boeing 787-8 was the main attraction of the air show of Begumpet airport, Hyderabad, which was declared open by Union Aviation Minister Mr. Ajit Singh yesterday. The Federation of Indian Chambers and commerce and Industry (FICCI) and the Ministry of Aviation jointly arranged the show.
The dreamliner aeroplane looks like a two-storied building. As much as 220 stalls have been arranged by various countries to show their planes. Some 22 companies are also exhibiting their aeroplanes in the premises of Begumpet airport.
The show will last for five days and first three days will be for business personalities and the last two days would be thrown open for general public. The air show was held in 2008 and 2010 previously and this is the third edition.
The exhibition is an opportunity to Indian aviation traders to meet international players in the own country. The exhibition is a great opportunity for persons who are interested in aviation and to know its latest trends and technologies. This time aeroplane feats have been cancelled as last time an accident had taken place.
