Dreams too are necessary so never stop pursuing them!
Having a dream means that you had a sound sleep. But Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, former President of India, in his autobiography, said, "Dreams are not those which comes while we are sleeping, but dreams are those when you don't sleep before fulfilling them."

But one thing is certain that you have to dream before your dreams can come true. The unfortunate part of life is that many people dream of being an entrepreneur, starting their own business, working for themselves, have all comforts for living a good life. But very few, however, will actually take the plunge and put everything they have got into being their own boss.

Dreams are like the seeds which change into a tree and nothing ever grows without a seed and nothing ever changes without a dream. If you don't have a dream you will go nowhere. Dreams are necessary as without dreams there will be no ambition to chase and there will be no goal to reach. In other words, we will be nothing without dreams. It is said that not having dreams is like chasing a traceless murder or following an invisible shadow.

In most of the cases, we forget the contents of the dream or only part of it is remembered by us. In some cases, while we are dreaming, someone wakes us up and the dream remains incomplete. You just rub your eyes and wonder it if was a dream or not.

You have to fight to reach your dream and also sacrifice and work hard for it. Dreams have to be realised to fulfill the same. A dream will not become an innovation if there is no realization.

Dream, dream, dream…. the first "D" is to dream 'Big', second is to 'Discover' and the third is to 'Do'. Do means to act on your dreams and make the best use of the opportunities you have discovered. Dreams are also the fuel that keeps energizing you to move further. Even if there are many complications in life, you tend to keep moving further and trying to be better than who you are.

I recollect that a few years back, I had a dream that I'm in Shimla and enjoying the beauty of nature, albeit, I had never been there till I joined the service. Till such time, I had not visited this place, I was just plotting in nature about the bills and neat and clean place. But after some time, my dream became a partial reality after I opted for the refresher training course at Shimla. I enjoyed the beauty of nature but not the cleanliness as it had turned out to be a dirty place to live in with so many tourists visiting the place making it hell.

Frankly speaking, if your dream is only about you, it is too small. We should never day dream like the fictional Indian TV character Mungeri Lal, as they are just good for listening but not well for the practical life.

We must dreams of something different in life, for the betterment of ourselves, for others, for society, for the nation, and for the world as well, in my opinion. However, a dream doesn't become a reality through magic, it takes sweat, determination and hard work which means dreams are very important in life. They prompt, encourage and lend a hand in achieving any goal that you want to achieve. Without dreams, we will be nowhere. Over to wishing you a sweet dream!
