Dress to better your looks, not to harm the body
Clothes are important for your body. Not only do they cover you in sun and cold, they attract others towards yourself. Changing clothes every day is as important as cleaning and taking bath every day. If you wear the same soiled cloth on your bathed clean body it reduces benefit of fresh air and soothing effects of bath.

Some clothes like woolen dresses, suit-coat, heavy saree like  Benarasi silk etc. that you may not like to wash after single use should be given a good sun-bath; stretch them under scorching sun for 4-5 hours, cool them and then only use them again.

Putting the clothes in sun before stocking is an old way followed by mothers. This is most easy, cheap and healthy way to take care of your cloth and your health, as sunshine kills the germs in the clothes and refreshes them.

Whatever you wear besides the stylish looks you first watch for the fabric and its texture. Light cotton is best as this allows breeze inside, does not block perspiration and keeps body cool. Synthetic clothes especially in summer should be avoided. Heavily embroidered artificial silk clothes also are unhealthy for body.

Next, you must look for the fitting of the cloth; this should not be so tight that this hurts the skin especially at curves; this may result in skin rashes and irritation etc. Tight blouses or upper garment caus blockage in breathings and blood circulation also.

When you pick up a dress you must look for its colour also. Colour of the dress is very important. Colours should be chosen not only as per your complexion but you should also consider the season. During summer you should avoid black, dark red, maroon, purple, grey, ash etc. and go for white, light shades of blue and green.

Colours have a great influence on body and mind. Should you wear a colour that matches your nature you feel free and pleasant, some colour shadows heavily your personality and true identity. In work place and educational institutions, dress code forces you to wear a colour that may not be suitable for you. This is unscientific actually and must be withdrawn.

Adopt fashions that suit your mindset, there are numerous styles and fashions prominent today, but do not get swayed by it, modify and create your own style; let your dress speak for you, your profession, your identity, your values. Wear for yourself not for any fashion house!

Also your body should perspire normally; some cosmetics and deodorants block perspiration to keep you sweat-free and thus the odour, but if sweat is blocked body’s normal detoxification process gets disturbed. This may result in skin irritation, rashes, and even skin cancer.

So take care of your dressings, dress to enhance your looks and spirit not to harm this.
