Motorola has come up with this phone, which is known as Droid RAZR, and comprises of a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, with 8 megapixel camera producing great quality photos. The smart phone would be operating on Android 2.3 Gingerbread mobile operating system as reported by IANS. The phone would be called Motorola Razr in other parts of the world except in the US, where it is known as Droid RAZR.

One of its strong competitors in its range of smart phones would be Apple and they have been breaking records with their product sales each and every time their new variant is unveiled. Motorola would also be thinking that they can emulate Apple’s feat in some way with this phone. But they could possibly hit a major road block as far as the pricing of their product is concerned. Everyone may be taking about the features included in Droid RAZR, but would there be long queues outside their stores when they introduce it in the market, early November due to their high price. The phone is also water resistant. If one decides to buy the product, one has to pay $299, which is even expensive than Apple iPhone 4S, which costs $199. But, there may be a section of people who would be saying that it is the only phone that would be able to stream and also download HD movies from Netflix, which other smart phones are not able to do.
