THE FIFTEENTH edition of Dubai Shopping Festival or DSF 2010 started today. During the next 32 days of DSF 2010 Dubai is going to witness of numerous events. Dubai International Airport is extremely busies in welcome the visitors who are coming from every corners of globe to enjoy Dubai Shopping Festival 2010.
DSF Family Desert Camp organized by Watani, is a getaway from the city and a return to nature. Visitors can participate in endless number of activities like camel rides, horse riding, quad bikes etc. Tourist of DSF 2010 have option of renting tents for days and enjoy the barbecue facilities, exclusive local cuisines as well as bit of shopping. Children can enjoy rides zone and an inflatable zone. Camp will stage entertainment shows throughout to provide a real memorable outing.
The camp is open to public who can either book the tents or come in for a day of pure excitement. Venue of Desert Camp is Al Warqa 4 Area from January 28 to February 28.This camp will be open for 24 hours.
Carpet Oasis is exhibition and sale of some of the rarest, largest, and most unique carpets and rugs from around the world. The exhibition features products from areas renowned for carpet-making such as Iran, Turkey, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Turkmenistan. Apart from carpets and rugs, handicrafts are also on display.
This event is organized by Dubai Customs at Dubai Airport Expo - West Hall from January 28 to February 28, 2010. Timing of Carpet Oasis is from Saturday to Thursday 10 AM to 10 PM and on Friday from 4 PM to 11:30 PM.
Shopper’s Day is guaranteed to kick-start the shopping season during the 15th edition of the Dubai Shopping Festival, with instant Cash Prizes worth a total of AED of 500,000 being given away on the inaugural day of the festival across all DSF sponsor-malls from 10 AM to 12 mid night, today.
Bringing local, regional, and international jazz artists together in a unique event, the Skywards Dubai International Jazz Festival is divided into two sub-events. First "World of Jazz" which will start from February to February 9, 2010 at The Walk at JBR. Timing of World of Jazz event is 8:30PM and 10:30 PM.
Next sub event is Jazz Festival. This event will be organized at Dubai Media City from February 10 February to February 16. This event will start from 8:30pm - 11pm and from February 17 to February 19, the timing is 6pm to 12 midnight.
Gulf Bike Festival 2010 will be held on 4th February from 2pm to 11:30pm and February 5 and 6 from 12pm to 8pm at Dubai Festival City. During the Gulf Bike Week, bikers from all over the region come down to Dubai to celebrate their love for everything on two wheels in a festive atmosphere. Held in association with Harley Davidson, the event provides a perfect lifestyle environment for music fans, sports enthusiasts, and thrill seekers of all nationalities and age group. Attractions include exciting biking experiences, freestyle bike demonstrations, spectacular stunt shows, and entertainment for adults and children.
