MILD TREMORS were felt in Mumbai and some parts of western Maharashtra on Saturday evening, December 12. These tremors were felt in Sangli, Osmanabad, Ratnagiri and Satara districts, while some shocks were also felt in the city's suburbs.

The earthquake was recorded at around 6.34 pm and its epicentre was in the Koyna region of western Maharashtra.
