ECR to augment trains with coaches
Keeping in mind the huge rush during winter season, the East Coast Railway (ECR) has decided to augment additional coaches in select trains. It is hoped that it would ease the travel woes of passengers.
- 2801 Puri-New Delhi Purusottam Express will be augmented with one AC-3 tier coach from December 1 to December 31, ’08. In the return direction, 2802 New Delhi-Puri Purusottam Express will be augmented with one AC-3 tier coach from December 3, ’08 to January 2, ’09.
- 2815/2875 Puri-New Delhi Neelachal Superfast Express will be augmented with one AC-3 tier from December 1 to December 31, ’08. In the return direction, 2876/2816 New Delhi-Puri Purusottam Express will be augmented with one AC-3 tier coach from December 3, ’08 to January 2, ’09.
- 2843 Puri-Ahmedabad Express will be augmented with one sleeper coach from Dec 2 to Dec 30, ’08. In the return direction, 2844 Ahmedabad -Puri Express will be augmented with one sleeper coach from Dec 4, ’08 to Jan1, ’09.
- 8401 Puri-Okha Express will be augmented with one sleeper coach from Dec 7, ’08 to Dec 28, ’08. In the return direction, 8402 Okha -Puri Express will be augmented with one sleeper coach from Dec 10, ’08 to Dec 31, ’08.
- 8405 Puri-Ahmedabad Exp. (via-Sambalpur) will be augmented with one sleeper coach from Dec 3, ’08 to Dec 31. ’08. In the return direction, 8406 Ahmedabad -Puri Exp. (via-Sambalpur) will be augmented with one sleeper coach from Dec 5, ’08 to Jan 2, ’09.
- 8463 Bhubaneswar-Bangalore Prashanti Express will be augmented with one AC-3 tier coach from Dec 1 to Dec 31, ’08. In the return direction, 8464 Bangalore-Bhubaneswar Prashanti Exp will be augmented with one AC-3 tier coach from Dec 2, ’08 to Jan 1, ’09.
- 2819 Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Orissa Sampark Kranti Express will be augmented with one AC-3 tier coach from Dec 3, ’08 to Dec 31, ’08. In the return direction, 2820 New Delhi-Bhubaneswar Orissa Sampark Kranti Express will be augmented with one AC-3 tier coach from Dec 5, ’08 to Jan 2, ’09.
