Education is a primary necessity for development
Education is a fundamental right irrespective of caste, creed, colour, race, location, and socio-economic status.
EDUCATION MEANS transformation of our behaviour – not to fill our heads with un digested information. It conveys practical knowledge that uplifts and enables our character. Only the process of character building can be called true education. It should aim at not information, but transformation – not instruction but construction.

Education is a dynamic process which enables man to grow, develop, adjust and adapt to accelerate change. It is a complex process, conditioned by multi- dimensional factors.

It has been well realized that the progress of nation in the today’s world is more than ever before dependent upon the quantity and quality of education received by its people. It has been a basic human need for communication and socialization.

The Article 26(1) of the universal Declaration of Human rights endows everybody in the world with the right to education. Education is a fundamental right irrespective of caste, creed, colour, race, location, and socio economic status.

Modern democracy says that all individuals are equal and have equal claims to these rights. Many steps have been taken out for globalisation of education in national and international level. UNESCO (1990) has aptly said “Education, as a basic human need therefore opens up unlimited possibilities calling for responses that are constructive, creative and challenging”.
