Election manifestos by Congress & AAP in Punjab claim they will finish drug menace in 30 days: But how?
It is common knowledge that in the present day competitive politics come elections and political parties start promising heaven and earth to the aam adami while knowing it very well that they cannot fulfil those promises in 100 years.
So, why to make such promises? Why this lack of accountability being condoned by people? Democracy or no democracy?

In Punjab, in the present elections both the Congress and AAP have said in their election manifesto that they will finish drug menace in Punjab in just 30 days.

America has been trying to tackle with its drug menace for last 50 years and has failed to control it despite the fact that their population is highly literate and the policing organisation is also less corrupt then India.

Both these political parties who claim that if they come to power in Punjab they will finish off the drug menace in 30 days are very vague as to how they will achieve this miraculous feat just in 30 days.

AAP has to say that it will not hesitate in prosecuting politicians involved in drug smuggling menace. In Punjab, 1.50 lakh youth are Heroin dependent.

AAP must explain how by prosecuting netas they will make these youth Heroin independent?

A whole generation is affected and these political parties are making this very serious problem of Punjab an election gimmick. Shame on them.
