Emergent concept of inclusive education
In the last few months, a few seminars and focus group discussions have been held on inclusive education at the primary level. A case is being made for respecting diversity and bringing about equity in education through differentiated teaching rather than stressing uniformity and similarity in education.

Inclusion as a concept in education consists of features such as providing emotionally secure learning environment; accepting, valuing, caring children; stimulating social climate of the school with a respect for diversity and differentiated instruction as a preconditions for the every child to achieve well and succeed.

·          Creating learning environment and resources that support learning

·          Providing freedom to learn with one's own pace and style

·          Ensuring full participation of all groups in school activities
