EPL, La Liga and Serie A just days away from kick-off
Football clubs around the world are looking ahead for their new season, which is set to start very shortly. Especially, three leagues, the EPL, La Liga and Serie A, are the most watched domestic football competitions around the world.

FOOTBALL FANS across the world would be eagerly waiting for the new domestic season to start. There are a large number of European football leagues that take place around the world - almost simultaneously. Some of the most watched leagues are La Liga (Spain), English Premier League (England), and Serie A (Italy). The competition that takes place among the clubs that participate in these leagues is top notch, which lasts for around 8 – 9 months. It is during this span that new players come to the limelight, heroes become zeros and vice versa.

The English Premier League is set to begin on August 18th 2012. It is the most watched football competition around the world, hence players also love to be a part of this elite league, which was won last season by Manchester City in the final days of the competition. Some of the teams to be watched out for this season are Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, along with Manchester City.

Teams such as Manchester United and Arsenal seem to be determined to be crowned champions this season as they have been busy in the transfer window by signing crucial players that would bolster their squad. Though Manchester City has been quiet with only one transfer till date, which is rather surprising. Liverpool under their new manager, Brendan Rodgers have looked impressive in their per-season matches. Hence, one cannot count Liverpool out in spite of a poor last season under Kenny Dalglish. The best thing about the league is its competitive nature, where even a newly promoted side could beat the top sides of the EPL.

La Liga is said to be another most closely watched football league around the world. It starts on the 18th of August 2012. The competition was won by Real Madrid under the guidance of the special one, Jose Mourinho, which was fought amongst 20 Spanish clubs. Though, the title race is normally between the top two sides, Barcelona and Real Madrid, but the league has a charm of its own with fans supporting their club until the final whistle . The La Liga houses some of the best players from the planet. Some of them are, Lionel Messi, C. Ronaldo, Xavi, Falcao, Casillas, Pepe, A. Sanchez, etc.

Serie A may not be such a popular league for it has its own style, which may or may not be liked by viewers. But the league has a long history, which makes it for the significance attached to the domestic competition. It was Juventus, who won the competition last season, so they would be eager to defend their title. On the contrary, other clubs would be ready to hunt them down. The season, 2012-2013 would be the 81st season, which would be fought amongst 20 clubs. Some of the top clubs in the league are Juventus, AC Milan, Inter Milan, AS Roma etc. The Serie A is scheduled to start from 25th Of august 2012.

Each of these leagues have a fair share of their fans, who remain very loyal to the league and watch almost every week when the games are scheduled. It is up the fans, as to what kind of football they appreciate. The English Premier League is known for its fast game along with brutal physical strength, which is an ultimate test of a footballer. No wonder, players love to represent an EPL club once in their career. On the other hand, both the La Liga and the Serie A are not played in such a high tempo as the EPL, but play in their own pace. Their leagues can also be considered to be a technical one, where lot of strategies are in place. But, there is no doubt about the quality of football that is in place in all of these three leagues.
