“Apart from the EMR concept cars on display, there was a host of motorsport based activities for all age groups visiting the dealership. Race themed driving games like racing simulators and remote controlled cars on race tracks were installed to enthral motorsport enthusiasts. Children who accompanied their parents were given a crash course in automobiles in an innovative zone called the ‘Children’s Automotive Learning Area’, apart from other fun contests and activities,” read the company press release.
Speaking to the press at the event, Mr. Sailesh Shetty, VP-Sales, TKM, said: “The response to our cars at the Auto Expo earlier this month was encouraging, and we are looking forward to a successful entry into the Indian motorsport scene with Etios Motor Racing. Starting with Chandigarh today we will take the excitement of EMR closer to our customers and the youth of the country through our wide network of dealerships. This is only the beginning of all that’s in store, this year will be dedicated to popularizing the EMR brand, apart from the dealership activations we will have exhibition races, roadshows and a whole lot of activities lined up before the actual races next year.”
