Eventful current lunar month will end with wafer thin crescent moon with 4 planets in eastern sky
The eventful current lunar month, that had the Blood Moon, lunar eclipse and brighter Venus, will end on coming Monday with another spectacle. For the sky gazers still the brighter than usual waning moon and dazzle bright Venus could be seen in the early morning sky getting closer to one another.
On September 6 mornings, when I went for a walk before five, the crescent moon was visible in the eastern morning sky and close to it was the Venus shining brightly. If you want to the see the spectacle, go out between 4 and 5 in the morning and watch both moon and Venus till Sunday, you will enjoy the sight.

These days, the moon is shrinking to a left-hand crescent as it passes four planets lined up above the eastern horizon early morning. If you have good binoculars or a telescope, you can see four planets lined up above the eastern horizon.

On Thursday morning, the moon will be about 2 degrees above the Venus. By Friday morning, the sinking crescent will sit between Venus and Jupiter two degrees to the right of much fainter Mars. Sunday morning, if you use binoculars and have a clear view of the eastern horizon, the wafer-thin moon will sit just below Mercury.

Look for the waning crescent moon Thursday morning, 2 degrees above dazzling bright Venus. Also, Jupiter, fainter Mars and Mercury will be in the eastern sky on Sunday morning to be watched through binoculars in the eastern horizon in the early morning.
