Every child in School; 25% free admissions in private schools: Educational Awareness Rally organised
Joint Act Committee organized Educational Awareness Rally under the banner of "Every Child in School; 25% Free Admissions to Children in Private Schools" on Monday in Hyderabad from Charminar.

Many representatives from different political parties including Aziz Pasha, former MP, Religious Denominations, Representatives from NGOs viz., Ambika, Aman Vedika, Venkat Swamy, MVF, Nagraj, Ashrita, Akram, Ahraf India Association and social activists participated in the Rally.

Students from Aman Vedika, Brilliant Grammer School and other schools participated in the Rally with enthusiasm. Police was very supportive for the success of the rally, according to a release by the committee.

The participants welcomed the order of the Director, School Education, Telangana State RC No.45/PS.3-1/2015 dated 17th March, 2015 giving a direction to provide 25% Free admissions to eligible children in private schools as per RTE Rules.

They demanded that appropriate rules for proper, immediate and effective implementation of the order and said that Government should immediately notify detailed process of admissions to ensure transparency, quantum and process for Reimbursement of Fees to Private Schools under this Act.

They also sought that the Government should communicate without any delay the appropriate Rules to all Private Non-Minority Schools and direct them to admit all eligible children in their schools under 25% Free Admission Rules as per RTE Act.

They insisted that the Government should immediately undertake mass awareness campaign throughout the state using media advertisements in news papers, TV channels, hoardings, mobile audio publicity and distribution of posters, hand bills etc to enable eligible parents to apply and avail benefits of the scheme for their children.

Dr. Mazher Hussain, Executive Director, COVA, AIYF leader Ramulu Yadav, Hazrath Maulana Syed Hamid Hussain Shuttari, Representative, All India Sunni Ulema Board, Hazrath Maulana Syed Shah Fazalullah Quadri Al Moosavi, Sajjada Nasheen and Mutawalli, Dargah Hazrath Syed Shah Moosa Quadri (RA), Silveri Srisailam, State President, Aam Aadmi Parents Union addressed the Rally and appealed to continue the campaign till objective is achieved. All participants assured their full support to the movement.
