Ex-Lokayukt from Haryana Justice Pritam Pal to head Anna Hazare's campaign against corruption in north India
Former Haryana Lokayukat, Justice Pritam Pal will head Anna Hazare's anti-corruption movement in north India, while Santosh Hegde has been chosen as the movement's coordinator south India.

The campaign against corruption will formally begin in Haryana's Kurukshetra on March 4. And on March 23, Anna Hazare willbegin his 'satyagraha' against corruptionfromthe Ramlila Maidan in New Delhi.

Justice Pritam Pal is the right choice as the movement's coordinator. May God give him strength in his mission. I've had a long friendship with Justice Pritam Pal and am also founder member of his Social Justice Front.

Justice Pal needs to pay special attention to Haryana as corruption hasbeen breeding in thestate since its inception in 1966. Despite zero tolerance claims on corruption by the present Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar it is still thriving.

Wine mafia, mine mafia and transport mafia are flourishing in the state under political patronage. During my forty years stint as a journalist with the Indian Express Group of newspapers in Haryana, I have closely watched the political scenario and am totally convinced that corruption is increasing. Here politicians and officers have developed unholy nexus for loot.

Although there are good officers but they are denied important positions. Media by and large except social media is pliable courtesy advertisements. The way state's resources are being looted will put even Mohammad Ghazni to shame.
