Ex-Navy SEAL denies leaking classified information, book to hit stands on Sep 4
With the reply by the Ex-Navy SEAL author of the book 'No Easy Day' to the Pentagon, denying the disclosure of classified information, the release of the book will be done on September 4 as decided by the publishers.

IN FACT the release of the book was to be done to mark the 11th anniversary of 9/11 terror attack but now it will be done on September 4 since pre-orders pushed the book to top Amazon's best-sellers list as claimed by the publisher Penguin Group-USA.

The book provides first-hand account of the Osama bin Laden raid and his killing, and the account has been written under the pen name Mark Owen. According to the attorney representing the author, his client has not violated any non-disclosure agreements and faithfully fulfilled his duty.

The Pentagon had warned legal action over violating a nondisclosure agreement on the basis of reviewed an advanced copy of the book. It seems that the Pentagon is irked since the book gives certain details of the Osama's killing which contradict the official accounts from the Obama administration.

The author is said be one of the United States Navy SEALs who participated in the mission to kill Osama bin Laden. He has claimed that he was one of the team members present in the third-floor room of bin Laden's compound in Pakistan. After his retirement, the Navy SEAL began authoring the book as firsthand details of the raid and killing Osama.
