Execute Kasab and deliver justice to people of Mumbai
We, the citizens of Mumbai, have waited enough. Justice is the only way to make up for the loss of blood of our fellow civilians, our brothers! I am sure the whole of Mumbai and rest of India will rejoice the decision to hang Kasab.
THE HAPPINESS felt as one read 'HC upholds death for Kasab' is inexplicable in words. And for a Mumbaikar like me, who was deeply hurt by the slaughterhouse like condition created in Mumbai, this was the best start to my day! It has been over two years to that awful terror attack and it was infuriating to see how justice was dragged and delayed this long! However, I feel the HC must also give a final date to execute this sentence given to him. No matter what state of mind Kasab is in and irrespective of how many people he killed, it is wrong to prolong the decision.
We, the citizens of Mumbai, have waited enough. Justice is the only way to make up for the loss of blood of our fellow civilians, our brothers! I am sure the whole of Mumbai and other responsible and infuriated citizens all over India and the world would be rejoicing by this decision. But the happiness would be much more when this sentence is carried out.
However, there is no point sending him to another jail and even worse, increasing his privileges when he was responsible for putting Mumbai to turmoil. I am happy that at least a step has been taken but when will we see the words put to action?
When will tears be wiped off the faces of innocent families, who are now no longer a family? I think two years is more than enough to make a decision and execute it. And when the case in question is so grave, I think action should be taken at once!
