Eye colour does the talking in Bollywood's first film family
Now even Bollywood would boast of a Walk of Stars. What better way to inaugurate it than call the..

IT SEEMS that Kareena Kapoor is a tad jealous of her elder sister Karisma Kapoor and the special attention that she used to get from their late grandfather Raj Kapoor. Or else why would she again repeat what she had told a decade earlier to Simi Garewal in Rendezvous that Raj Kapoor loved Karisma more because she had his blue eyes and Kareena had her father’s green eyes. She made this statement to the press while unveiling her grandfather’s brass statue in Bollywood’s own Walk of Stars.

She did not stop at the previous statement but as reported in indiatoday.in, she said, “During summer seasons he would give two mangoes to Karisma and I would end up getting just one. I had to work hard to please him.” In a Hollywood like Walk of Fame, Bollywood would have its very own Walk of Stars in Bandra Bandstand Promenade, thanks to UTV Stars. For the same, the statue of Raj Kapoor, who is held in high esteem for his contribution to the Hindi film industry, was honoured with a brass statue.

Kareena Kapoor, who comes from the earliest film industry in Bollywood and also the most bankable actress of our times, came to the ceremony with her father Randhir Kapoor (also a yesteryear actor). While unveiling the signature of Prithviraj Kapoor, Shammi Kapoor, Raj Kapoor, Sunil Dutt and Nargis, she was joined by the veteran film maker Madhur Bhandarkar. Not only Raj Kapoor but Shammi Kapoor was also honoured by a brass statue in the event.
