Facebook, a lifestyle
This generation is all about the internet. Is it not? I must say it's hard to imagine life back when our parents were growing up. No cell phones. No internet. No email. No, not even Facebook.

FACEBOOK IS a networking tool to keep your friends, family and companies connected. We all know that now. It's almost everyone's life. And if it is not everyone's life it surely is about to be. Facebook, the new brand of this generation has taken on a new meaning. Not only are people "brand loyal" to Facebook, people see it as a lifestyle. It has changed the way we go about our day to day.

Facebook lets you email, lets you instant message and chat, and lets you share pictures and videos. This networking tool is considered the "classier" version of Myspace, that people are also aware of. Facebooks applications, if you will have now expanded beyond the pictures and videos uploads to playing games, taking quizes, sharing company pages, fan pages, and so much more. The possibilities are just becoming endless via Facebook.

"Facebook is a place for people to put their real lives online, providing factual information about themselves and having trusted interactions with their friends," said Eric Eldon.
According to Facebook, Press Room: Statitics, the most useful Facebook applications involve the following:
-More than 14 million videos uploaded each month
-More than 2 billion pieces of content (web links, news stories, blog posts, notes, photos, etc.) shared each week
-More than 3 million events created each month
-More than 45 million active user groups exist on the site

I would have to agree. Photos, especially dispersed between college students all over the world, is absolutely insane. This networking tool is also a great way to archive photos. This applications allowing you to upload and share photos is also a place to store and have a keep sake of all the photos. If for some reason your computer were to crash, your Facebook would still have all your precious memories saved. The same goes for videos as well.

As everyone uses Facebook for a different use, it therefore doesn't have one application to be the most useful but as majority and according to Facebook's company statistics, photos seem to be the most effective Facebook application.
