However, this page is no different from the Facebook friendship page that shows two friends having mutual friends, tags and messages that they have dedicated to each other in the virtual world. But since users are getting redirected to a completely new page if they are in a relationship, this might be the problem.
The friendship page that has been into existence for the last two years is also almost similar but since most of the users are not aware of its existence hence a lot has not been said about it. Facebook's Jessie Baker mentioned, “You cannot deactivate the pages, but you can control what you share on Facebook using the privacy settings for each post. The friendship page respects the privacy setting of each post. This means the person viewing the friendship page may see each post elsewhere on Facebook, like on either friend's timeline or in news feed. You can curate your friendship page by hiding stories you do not want to appear.”
While some bloggers are using harsh language for the new page, the makers of Facebook are not too concerned as they feel it is a reaction to something new and will go away with time.
