Amitabh Bachchan tried to be a presenter on radio but was rejected due to his voice. Isn't it unbelievable? Yeah! It's true.

But his onscreen mother from 'Paa', Vidya Balan made it happen twice. She first played RJ Jhanvi in 'Lage Raho Munna Bhai'. She again recently starred as an RJ in film 'Tumhari Sulu' for the second time. And this time also, RJ Malishka mentored and acted alongside her.

He was once a very famous RJ at a Delhi FM station. RJ Malishka is also one of the famous RJs of our country. She made her film debuted as an actor in 'Tumhari Sulu'. Coincidentally, last time in 2006, when Vidya had for the first time played an RJ in Lage Raho Munna Bhai, she was trained by Malishka.

Veteran actor of yesteryears late Sunil Dutt also started his career as a radio presenter in Asia's oldest radio station Radio Ceylon. He was very famous then and even got the opportunity to interview the likes of Dilip Kumar.

Saeed Jaffery was also an RJ with Akashvani. He worked for Akashvani External Service.

Neil Bhoopalam, who was seen in NH10 was also a radio presenter at one point of time.

Mir Afsar Ali, who has been seen in many Bengali films, is till now a proficient radio jockey in a Kolkata-based FM station.
