Farmer rides a rickshaw from China to London Olympics
In order to show his spirit for London Olympics, Chinese farmer Chen Guanming travelled all the way to London from China on his rickshaw. Starting in the year 2010, Guanming managed to reach London just before the opening of Olympic Games.

DECORATED WITH pictures shot in front of global landmarks like the Eiffel Tower in Paris and the Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, a rickshaw of Chinese farmer, Chen Guanming tells whole story of his journey from China to London.

Guanming claimed that his two-year odyssey to the London Games took him from Thailand's floods to Tibet to snowed-in Turkey to Britain since he started in 2010.

The 57-year-old farmer also claimed that he had never traveled outside China before this trip, and said that he wanted to support the athletes and "spread the Olympic spirit." He was also seeking a last-minute ticket to attend Friday's opening ceremony. "I came to support and cheer all the people from all over the world who are participating in the sports, said Guanming, who travelled 16 countries including Vietnam, Thailand, Pakistan, Turkey and Italy.

He experiences the worst while travelling during Thailand's floods and being trapped in freezing temperatures in the snow in Turkey, according to this video. He arrived in Britain by ferry from France on July 6, he said. By his indomitable spirit for sports he amazed the people of London and all passers-by who could not resist praising him.

Getting inspired by Beijing Olympics, he took this decision to go to London to see Olympics and was invited by British media. He then in 2009 started applying for visa. As per Chen, he got financial help and assistance from his friends and even from strangers who got to know about his motive. His spirit is no doubt praiseworthy and admirable.
