The union minister for New and Renewable energy, Dr Farooq Abdullah, has urged all participants in the Kashmir issue, including the Hurriyat conference, to discuss the issue on the negotiating table, in order to bring peace and normalcy to the state.
URGING THE Hurriyat conference to participate in the dialogue process, in finding a lasting solution to Kashmir related problems, the Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy, Dr Farooq Abdullah has urged all parties to contribute in restoring peace and normalcy in the state.
The union minister was addressing a mammoth gathering after inaugurating a model village at Hullar, Kishtwar.
Dr Farooq said that, the time has come that all the parties should come forward and contribute their bit in solving the issue. He said that much blood-shed has been witnessed by the people of the state. Everybody should shed off their prejudices and work for a lasting and amicable solution so, the everlasting peace and prosperity returns to the state.
Terming the Indo-Pak friendship vital, for the people of the sub-continent and especially, the people of the state, he appealed to the leaders of both the countries to build bridges of friendship by resuming the composite dialogue so, all issues can be settled amicably.
