Fashion Technology girl students to support India with painted faces in Ranchi
Cricket fever has gripped Ranchi, which is hosting the third ODI between India and England. So one can expect fans to come in huge numbers and support the Indian team. One group of girls, students of Fashion Technology, have evoked much interest as they have painted their faces, primarily with colours of the Indian tri-colour, and will cheer the men in blue.

One of the girls from the group said, “We have painted out faces with national colours to support the Indian team,” reported NNIS. With such cricket fans expected to throng the stadium, it is going to be a colourful affair. The third ODI is expected to be an important match in the context of the series with both the teams tied at 1-1 in the best of five series. The team walking away with the match will have a slight edge in the series over their opponents.

It is for the first time that Ranchi will be hosting an international cricket match. The match is scheduled to take place at the JSCA International Cricket stadium. Another cricket fan from the group said, “I am very excited, as it is for the first time that Ranchi is hosting an ODI match and it is Dhoni's hometown as well. We want him to go back winning and not disappoint anyone.”

Though the Indian team would be receiving full support from the fans, some of the girls plan to have the national flags of both the nations painted on their faces. The Englishmen would be pleased to see their national flag colours on Indian girls. One of the girls who had painted her face with the design of the British flag said, “It is for the first time that an international team is coming to Ranchi, so we need to support them as well.” For all cricket lovers in the city of Ranchi, it would be a proud moment, when the first delivery of the match is bowled.
