Fear of Swine Flu pandemic striking again rises?
Recently we saw the news of swine flue again claiming 9 lives in June. Experts opine that the virus never left the atmosphere; it only became less active due to hot weather. As and when the mercury will drop, it will emerge again.
SWINE FLU often called as H1N1 is a new virus circulated among human beings. It was seen first time as human disease in April 2009. Swine flu is a pandemic which means it has been seen at worldwide level. This tag of pandemic fever is given by World Health Organization. The H1N1 flu, often called "swine flu," isn't related to pigs only. It’s a new flu virus circulating, according to Wikipedia, Swine influenza virus is common throughout pig populations worldwide.
There are other alternative names of swine flu like pig flu,hog flu,swine influenza,H1N1 diseases ,zoonotic flu etcSwine flu viruses belong to the family of ORROMEKSOVERIDAY which is mostly affected . Such type of virus cause outbreaks of flu in pigs Earlier forms of the H1N1 virus were found in pigs. Over time, the virus changed (mutated) and can now infect humans. Because H1N1 is a new virus in humans, so,our immune system cannot fight the virus very well. As a result, it has spread quickly around the world.
The common symptoms of this disease are same as occurring in case of influenza like weakness and illness in general namely,chills,watery nose,sore-dry throat & tongue,headache,giddiness,muscle &joints pain,coughing and other general discomforts. Recently we saw the news of subdued swine flue striking again, claiming nine lives in June. Experts opine that the virus never left the atmosphere; it only became less active due to the scorching heat in the countries. As and when the mercury will drop, it will emerge again. So during the heat and rains one should be more careful to take precautionary measures. Even the developed and developing countries like United States,Mexico,Canada,South America,Europe , Asia ,including Bangladesh,Pakistan,India have more possibility to infect the people. The raw and semi cooked meat and eggs are very risky to consume. Many Indians are aware about potential and useful qualities of Heeng,the regular consumption of that spice, proven to be beneficial in this disease. Even keeping one piece of Heeng all the time with you ,wrapped in piece of cloth /paper is equally good.
