Feminism is misunderstood in society
Feminism is being understood in the society with the multitude of perspectives. According to UNICEF, it tries to give an equal gender status, rights, opportunities and protection to women and men. But it is better to say that people have misunderstood this concept to some extent and have started doing politics over it. Is it vital to use the reservation and other ways to provide an equal status to male and female section of the country?

In one way, it is being done to stop the discrimination among people on the basis of sexes. But, isn't it indirectly discriminating with men? The changing scenario is transforming the women's status in the society. Indeed, it is correct that only smaller proportion of women population is joyous with the development but instead of spreading the women's growth in each and every area, the idea is getting politicized with every coming-going government.

Is government only responsible for such condition and they are not coming from the society like others? Who else should be doing that? Isn't the answer is everybody in the society? Why is it always on the shoulders of policy makers, non-government organizations or media? If everyone will keep on complaining then who will be the doer?

Why a physically fit woman does deserve a seat in a train or bus than an elderly ill man? It is elaborated that women may face harassment in a crowded transportation. If there will not be such severe situation then who will be needing to plead for these rights?

Instead of eliminating these malicious evils, the major focus is on to providing them rather unequal status. There are several questions roaming around every corner of the society but nobody has the courage to respond to it. For how long will things be exaggerated by using the name of a woman without her consent? Women have been becoming a substantial matter as a weaker section of the society or the dependent one.

If a 73-year-old Japanese woman can become the oldest female to scale Mount Everest, breaking the record she set a decade ago then why not other women? Athletes like 75 years old Ernestine Shephard, who is recognized as oldest female bodybuilder, spends her time running, lifting weights, and working out. By observing these strong women, do we need to seek for feminism to uplift the women like we are doing in contemporary time?

If Indra Nooyi, chairperson and chief executive officer of the second largest food and beverage business in the world, can manage it with such ease then how come we have a sick impression about a female. The whole idea of feminism has not only transformed by politicos but also by the organizations and activists. From equality, it has taken towards superfluous for women for vote-bank, corruption, prominence, etc.

We just need to give them their rights, an equal right as men then we should judge whether they should get more advantages than men or not. A lady is nowadays, a daughter, sister, wife, mother, homemaker, working woman and has an ample of other works in handy then on what basis; one is being judgmental towards them and their existence in the society.

Each member of our society should re-write the mentality towards the real essence of feminism and the morale's of the society towards them.
