FIFA World Cup 2018: Google doodle celebrates third place play-off between Belgium and England
The internet search engine and technology giant Google celebrates the football culture of Belgium and England who will be clashing for third place today in the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Google wrote on its website, "Best of luck to both teams who have made it to the third place play-off this year: Belgium and England!"

Today's Featured Artists are Belgium's Sam Vanallemeersch and England's Celyn Brazier. Responding to question 'What does football mean in your country?'; Brazier says,

"It is a quintessentially English national event that is tinged with excitement and frustration and tragedy in equal measure. At its best it represents people of many backgrounds and ethnicities coming together in dark, sweaty pubs while it is hot and sunny outside."

The website adds, "The 2018 FIFA World Cup third place play-off has arrived! Over the past month, players from the men's national teams of 32 countries have competed for top rank across 12 venues in 11 cities across Russia. With a total of 64 matches (and plenty of GOOOALS!), the games will culminate at Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow on July 15. "

According to Google, this year's Doodle series celebrated the rich cultures and talent of all 32 participating countries by featuring guest artists hailing from each nation! We hope you've enjoyed all 32 Doodles throughout the games, each illustrating the artist's interpretation of "What football looks like in my country."
