FIFA World Cup 3rd/4th place: Brazil vs Netherlands
After an embarrassing loss against Germany in the semi-finals of 2014 world cup, Brazil would be eager to finish the tournament on a high as they take on Netherlands later tonight in a third/fourth place encounter. Though, Brazil may not be satisfied with a third place finish, but that's the best they can achieve in the tournament, provided they win.
But, Netherlands on the other hand would not make life any easier for the Brazilians, as they have also been deeply frustrated after their loss against Argentina via penalties. They played a good game against Argentina and it would not be unfair to say that the team in orange jersey were unlucky.

On the other hand, Brazil has been a lucky team so far, as have not been in their impressive best in any of the matches so far. Brazil with their star studded players have not been able to strike the right cord. They have performed well in matches, but seldom during the entire game. It is time for them to deliver as a unit and showcase their talent one final time in front of their home fans.

Players such as Fred, Hulk, Marcelo, Paulinho needs to be on top of their game if they are to defeat Netherlands, who have their own star players. Van Persie, Sneijder and Robben form the most lethal attacking trio in the world cup and have taken the responsibility on their shoulders well.

But, the trio would face strong defending from Brazil, who were left surprised when the Germans scored seven goals past them. They would want not to concede any goal during the match and establish that their game against Germany was a one off match.
