FIFA World Cup: Costa Rica Vs Italy
The group of death (Group D) will witness Italy taking on Costa Rica later tonight at Arena Pernambuco, Recife, where the winner of the game would practically progress into the next round of the competition. Italy defeated England in their previous match, while Costa Rica sprung a surprise defeating Uruguay.
Many experts are claiming Italy to be one of the strongest contender of the competition, primarily after their brilliant display against the defending champions, Spain, where they defeated them, 2-1. They seem to have a balanced line up with a good mix of youth and experience in various positions. Balotelli could trouble the Costa Rican defenders and the team would also depend on Pirlo for his silky passes as well.

But, Costa Rica would go onto the match with a positive frame of mind after their thumping win in the group against Uruguay. Costa Rica would pin their hopes on Joel Campbell to help them win the game against the strong physical defenders of Italy. Campbell needs to use his pace against the Italians to the core. But, things are not going to be easy for Campbell and his teammates, for Italy plays with a lot of character and never gives anything away, no matter what.

The Costa Rican manager seems confident and feels that they are going to play better than how they played against Uruguay. If this is the case, then, it is the neutrals, who are going to enjoy the beautiful game. Though, one has to concede, Italy go into the match as favourites.

The match is going to be watched eagerly by England as well, for their fortunes of survival depends on this game as well. If Italy win this game or Costa Rica, England remains in the hunt, but a draw would dent their hopes also.
